Realms of Alurya Moves to Ronin After Treasure Exit

Realms of Alurya

The world of blockchain games just got a major shake-up.

Realms of Alurya (RoA), the ambitious fantasy RPG built for Web3 adventurers, is officially leaving the Treasure Chain and migrating to the Ronin Network. This is more than a simple change of scenery—it's a move that could redefine RoA’s future and set a new standard for blockchain-based RPGs.

Let’s break down what’s happening, why it matters, and what it means for the RoA community.

Why Realms of Alurya Is Leaving Treasure Chain

Things escalated quickly.

Just days before RoA’s announcement, Treasure DAO revealed a major shift in strategy: no more support for third-party games. Instead, they’re doubling down on internal projects like Bridgeworld and Smolworld to extend their financial runway.

This decision left RoA—the only fully-launched game on Treasure’s mainnet—out in the cold.

In a community Discord update on April 3rd, the RoA team didn’t mince words. They were “blindsided” by the move, calling it a break from a “shared vision” that had underpinned their launch.

And with that, Realms of Alurya began packing its bags.

Enter Ronin: A Fresh Start on a Proven Network

So, why Ronin?

The Ronin Network is no stranger to success. Home to Axie Infinity, this Ethereum sidechain boasts:

  • Over 17 million wallets

  • 1.6 million monthly players

  • $4.3 billion in NFT trading volume

But it’s not just about numbers. The values match too.

RoA’s team emphasized that Ronin is all about ownership, fun-first gameplay, and strong community—the same pillars RoA was built on. With Ronin’s infrastructure and player base, the migration offers a solid foundation for long-term growth.

Migration tools, launch timelines, and integration plans will be released soon. For now, players can look forward to RoA entering one of the most vibrant ecosystems in all of blockchain gaming.

The Hunt & Mint Event: Paused, Not Canceled

If you’ve been waiting for RoA’s highly anticipated Hunt & Mint event, you’ll need a bit more patience.

Originally slated for April 14th, the event is now on hold until the Ronin migration is complete. That’s the bad news.

The good news? It’s coming back “stronger than ever,” according to the team.

Here’s what the event promised before the delay:

  • Face off against Grommart, a deadly new boss

  • Forge a Hunter’s Seal NFT, unlocking ongoing benefits

  • Earn $ACN tokens, RoA’s in-game currency

  • Own and customize NFT dungeon bosses

And the Hunter’s Seal came with three powerful tiers:

  1. Tier 1: Lifetime access to all Hunt & Mint events

  2. Tier 2: Eligibility for an $ACN airdrop, based on “ACN Power”

  3. Tier 3: NFT bosses that can be staked for yield or used in your own dungeons

Stay tuned. Once RoA settles into Ronin, the dungeon gates will swing open once more.

What Is Realms of Alurya?

New to the world of RoA? Here’s a quick primer.

Built by Synergy Games, Realms of Alurya started as Synergy Land, inspired by titles like Diablo and Path of Exile. It’s a fast-paced action RPG with blockchain at its core.

What makes it special?

  • Procedurally generated dungeons that keep the grind exciting

  • Private island management, where players craft, upgrade, and build

  • Pet taming and breeding, with magical companions to aid in battle

  • Player-owned NFTs, from gear to dungeon bosses

  • A true play-and-earn economy, powered by the $ACN token

The game splits its vibrant world into four elemental zones—earth, fire, water, and ice—each teeming with loot, enemies, and lore.

In short: RoA is a love letter to hardcore RPG fans, with blockchain giving players real power over their progress and possessions.

What’s the Deal With $ACN?

Let’s talk tokenomics.

$ACN is the lifeblood of the Realms of Alurya economy. It fuels everything:

  • Crafting gear

  • Upgrading abilities

  • Dungeon access

  • Trading and customization

The Hunt & Mint event was supposed to be the first big opportunity to earn $ACN directly. While the event is paused, the airdrop is still scheduled for Q2 2025, although its timeline could shift based on the migration speed.

Once Ronin integration is complete, expect $ACN to take center stage in RoA’s reward system.

What Happened to Treasure?

It all comes down to money.

As of early April, Treasure DAO held:

  • $2.4 million in stablecoins

  • $2.3 million in $MAGIC tokens

  • An annual burn rate of $8.3 million

At that pace, they would’ve run out of funds before the end of 2025. The leadership made a tough call: shut down Treasure Chain, exit external game publishing, and focus exclusively on four core products.

Here’s what remains under Treasure’s umbrella:

  • Bridgeworld

  • Smolworld

  • Treasure Marketplace

  • AI Agent Tech

Games like The Beacon, Calamity, and now Realms of Alurya have all exited the ecosystem in search of more sustainable futures.

What’s Next for RoA?

The Realms of Alurya team is now laser-focused on a successful migration to Ronin.

Here’s what’s coming soon:

  • Full migration tools for players

  • A mainnet launch plan on Ronin

  • Updated Hunt & Mint event details

  • Timelines for $ACN airdrops and NFT integration

For RoA players, it’s an exciting new chapter. For the broader blockchain gaming community, it’s proof that quality projects can adapt and thrive—even when the ground shifts beneath them.

Got your Hunter’s Seal ready? The Realms of Alurya are calling once more—this time from the halls of Ronin.
