The team behind Elemental Raiders, a popular free-to-play turn-based hero battler, has announced the GFAL Ignite Tournament, a one-week event starting on March 2nd and ending on March 8th. The tournament is free for everyone to join, and there is a total prize pool of $35k up for grabs for the top 1000 players.
The prize pool includes $15k $BUSD, $12k worth of skins, $5k worth of $GFAL, $2k worth of chests, and $1k worth of elemental crystals. Players can participate by downloading the game through the Games for a Living (G4AL) Launcher and creating or linking their own wallet in the tournament section using Sequence Wallet, the developers' partner's frictionless wallet.
Participants will be able to play as many matches as they want during the week-long event to win trophies, which determine their ELO rating. The tournament will use a PvP format with an ELO rating system for fair matchmaking. All heroes and their skills will be fully unlocked and at max level for the tournament, making it fair for everyone.
Prizes will be awarded depending on a player's rank on the leaderboard. Players who play at least one match will receive an in-game participation reward, which is a skin called "Contestant Takeda." Those who end the tournament with 1000 ELO or more will be eligible for a raffle to win one of ten Builder Giovanna NFT skins.
The tournament will only be available through the G4AL Launcher, and the game can be downloaded from Elixir and Steam. However, players will need to create an Elemental Raiders account to participate in the tournament. It's important to note that the Tournament feature is only available after finishing the tutorial for new players.
This tournament is a great opportunity for players to test their skills against other Elemental Raiders players and have a chance at winning a share of the impressive $35k prize pool.
