Derby Stars, the exciting new polygon-based horse-racing metaverse game, has launched its Early Access version, providing fans with a glimpse of what’s to come. The experienced team behind the game is positioning Derby Stars as an interesting and necessary addition to the world of digital horse racing. They believe it is a game built for and by the users, and the Early Access period will allow fans to experience the game and provide valuable feedback before making final tweaks ahead of the full release in 2023.
“We have worked tirelessly to create a game that truly captures the excitement and thrill of horse racing, and we are confident that the Early Access version is a great representation of what’s to come,” said Sean Hahm, Executive Producer of Derby Stars.
The Early Access version of Derby Stars is available on PC and Mac to those who have the Derby Stars Horse NFT. The game supports English, Japanese, and both traditional and simplified Chinese languages. As a play-to-earn game, players earn rewards in the form of cryptocurrencies, using a dual token economy that consists of the $RUN governance token and the $CRT utility token.
The gameplay revolves around horse racing, horse NFTs, in-game assets, and rewards. All players can train and race their horses, breed them to get new horses, and feed their horses to explore their full range of abilities. The various types of NFTs found in the game include Horse, Soul, Land, and Foal, with levels of rarity that range from unique to common.
Derby Stars has raised $6 million in a seed round co-led by Patron and Galaxy Interactive, and received follow-on support from investors, including Hashed. With this backing and support, the game is set for a bright future in the world of digital horse racing. Stay tuned for more news about Derby Stars.
